​UPSL NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ginga Atlantas Alberto Ciroi

September 11, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA – Ginga Atlanta goalkeeper Alberto Ciroi has been selected UPSL National Player of the Week.

A native of Udine, Italy, Ciroi made seven stops - including a penalty kick save -  in a UPSL 2020 Fall Season Southeastern Conference Georgia Division game on Saturday, September 5, 2020. Ciroi played 90 minutes for Ginga Atlanta (4-0-0 overall) in the victory.

A member of the 2018 Baker University National Junior College National Championship team, Ciroi previously played for Duluth FC (NPSL), and was the 2019 Sun Belt Tournament Most Outstanding Player last season as a member of the Coastal Carolina University (NCAA) team. 

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL, and decided by the fans via Twitter poll.
